Other Benefits of TBA Membership

Occasional Email Blasts are sent to members to let them know when "Special Events" are coming up or if the Association hears of other news pertinent to its members.

Twice annually, the Association holds All-Member Meetings. The first of these meetings is the Semi-Annual Meeting held in the spring. The Annual Meeting, held in the fall, includes dinner for two and is the meeting at which the Executive Board is elected.

"Central" Donation Location

Throughout the year, various non-profits hold fund-raisers and we small businesses are constantly being asked to help out. Through our Community Outreach Program, the TBA makes donations to various organizations in Townsend. Besides donating $1000 to the NMRSD Project Graduation Program and $1500 in scholarships to North Middlesex and Nashoba Tech Seniors, the TBA gives an annual donation to the Townsend Ecumenical Outreach and to the Friends of the Townsend Seniors Annual Holiday Dinner. When approached by these or other organizations, by all means, if you can give, please do so. If not, you can tell the requester you give through the TBA and suggest they bring their request to our Community Outreach Committee. All requests will be reviewed and forwarded to the Executive Committee.
